He will turn 31 just before the start of the 2009 season and there's not much left in the tank.

For now, Reese says, "Plaxico is taking his time to get healthy and tend to the important matters he has in his personal life."

Undersized Nick Cole has been starting at RG of late.

He hurt his shoulder in Week 16 and hasn't seen the field since. Clark is injury-prone, but his tone-setting hits have been a big part of Pittsburgh's improvement in the secondary this season. It sounds like he'll be ready for the playoffs.
