We’ve broken down the sportsbooks into 5 major sportsbook review categories: Loose Lines, Reduce Juice, Depositing Bonus, Sharp Lines, and Betting Exchanges .

Some sportsbooks excel in more than one area while some sportsbooks are proud to specialize. We have ranked and reviewed the sportsbooks using a 1-5 star system. The more stars, the better a sportsbook ranks in each category.

BetUs.com - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Usually off market a full point

Reduced Juice

-110

Bonuses

sliding bonus scale 50% with a 6X rollover

Summary: Located in Costa Rica, BetUS takes limited wiseguy action. That allows them to carry some VERY loose lines. On a given NBA or NFL day of action they’ll have more than one game a full point higher than at most shops. For a small player shop, it’s surprising their Internet minimum is $5, but they do have a competitive bonus program.

Pinnacle - sportsbook review (NO LONGER ACCEPTS US PLAYERS)

Loose Lines

They have an opinion

Reduced Juice

-105

Bonuses

10% on initial deposit, 5k max, 3x rollover, plus 30days, no reloads

Summary: Pinnacle can proudly call itself the King of Reduced Juice. They normally offer -105 and on NFL they go as low as -104. That’s currently the lowest on the Net. This industry leader out of Curacao takes players of all sizes with a posted maximum of $30,000 on NFL sides but they won’t turn any bet down. Their linesman is sharp and doesn’t follow the crowd, leading to a few unique numbers.

CRIS - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Have their own opinion and are not a copycat shop

Reduced Juice

Standard 10 cent

Bonuses

Offer either a 10% match play with 3X rollover or 20% match play with 5X rollover $1,000 max.

Summary: CRIS is a legendary name in the offshore world because they will take just about any bet from anybody. They have a listed max. bet of $50,000 and would probably take higher from the right customer. That being said, their loyalty program is not available to professional players. One of the originators of the line and they get much respect from the professional crowd.

5Dimes.com - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

You'll find ½ point off market

Reduced Juice

-110

Bonuses

20% Initial Deposit, 50% Match Play with certain deposit methods

Summary: Online since 1998, one of the most reputable names in the sports betting industry. A sharp book with excellent bonuses, great customer service and quick payouts. A solid place to play.

Sports Interaction  - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Always a ½ point to full point off

Reduced Juice

-110

Bonuses

20% on certain deposit methods only

Summary: On a typical NFL Sunday we find at least 3 games a full point off the market average. They have little tolerance for wiseguy or sharp action. As such, that allows them to mess around with their lines on a good many games. Almost always heavily shaded towards the public so that works out great for the value shoppers.

WSEX - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Not afraid to have a unique number

Reduced Juice

-104 on live betting events but standard -110 otherwise

Bonuses

Nothing special

Summary: This sportsbook is most well known for their pioneering efforts in the world of in-game or live betting options, on which they offer 4 cent juice. They’re not afraid to take a big bet with a huge $30,000 limit on NFL and NCAA football sides. A ridiculously high $10 minimum is bad for the small-time player.

Canbet  - sportsbook review  (NO LONGER ACCEPTS US PLAYERS)

Loose Lines

Occasional off lines that are 1/2 point in your favor

Reduced Juice

-107

Bonuses

No Depositing Bonuses

Summary: A good everyday book. You'll get occasional off lines that are 1/2 point in your favor, plus factor in their -107 juice, and you've got yourself a book you can win at. Sports Insights has an account with Canbet that we use daily. Instead of placing a wager at a normal sportsbook at +3 -110, we'll make the same wager at Canbet +3.5 -107. Every bit helps.

Cascade   - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Maintain their opinion, which offers the occasional opportunity

Reduced Juice

-105 if you are willing to forfeit other bonuses

Bonuses

If you do choose the bonus they have some interesting options

Summary: A Costa Rica shop that welcomes wiseguy action and has an interesting menu for bonus options. Cascade offers 5 cent juice on NFL, NBA and NCAA football. However if you choose that option you are not eligible for any other bonus promotion. These other options include a 10% deposit bonus with 3X rollover or 10% rebate of your monthly losses. They will maintain their lines and do not follow the crowd which can be a bonus if you want to get down on a favorite.

ABC Islands   - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Heavy sharp action will cause them to post off market lines

Reduced Juice

-110 Standard

Bonuses

one of the better sliding bonuses out there allowing you to choose from 10% with a 4X rollover up to 25% with a 12X rollover

Summary: This book has been around since the beginning of the Internet wave and now resides in Costa Rica after spending their first few years of operation in Curacao. A $5 minimum and not afraid to take sharp action.

Gameday - sportsbook review (NO LONGER ACCEPTS US PLAYERS)

Loose Lines

Occasional off lines that are 1/2 point in your favor

Reduced Juice

-110

Bonuses

20% initial deposit on Bank Wire or Direct Cash, 10% other payment methods, 2k max, 3x rollover

Summary: A solid every day sportsbook. Occasional shaded line plus good perks (Bonuses, Comps, Good Lines). Solid book that players can win at.

Olympic   - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

One of the first lines and they maintain their opinion

Reduced Juice

-110

Bonuses

21% for new customers but no reload bonus

Summary: One of the earliest and most well known online shops run by a man who has an outstanding reputation in the industry. Your money is probably safer here than at Ft. Knox. They originate a sharp line, welcome sharp action and offer more betting options than just about any place around.

Hollywood   - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

 Sharp and opinionated

Reduced Juice

-107

Bonuses

Tiered from 10% with 3X rollover and a 10% rebate on NFL losses to 15% rebate with 8X rollover and 10% NFL rebate

Summary: The trend of Costa Rican books with unique lines continues with Hollywood. Combine that with the fact they offer 7 cent juice and you have a chance for some real value shopping here. Throw in a very competitive tiered bonus structure and it’s a real winner.

Sportbet.com   - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

Pretty standard

Reduced Juice

-105 on a very small amount of selected games

Bonuses

fairly competitive sliding scale from 10% with a 3X rollover up to 50% w/ a 7X rollover. A 30 day hold prevents a 4-star rating.

Summary: This Costa Rican book barely sneaks into the reduced juice category by offering a very limited -105 on straight bets on selected games. That means if you put the game in a parlay it goes back up to 10 cents. This book does not really cater to the sharp player and does not offer much in the way of line shopping either.

Sportsbook.com   - sportsbook review

Loose Lines

They’re not going out on a limb one way or the other

Reduced Juice

-110 cents all the way

Bonuses

15% signup with only a 3X rollover but reloads are 5% and on Thursdays only

Summary: Just a fairly cookie-cutter version of a sportsbook. They don’t do anything that you can overly criticize but they don’t do anything special either. Why they have a $5 Internet minimum is beyond us.
